Alice Marie Holtegaard

Alice M. Holtegaard, age 77, died Sunday Sept. 10, 2017 in Rochester. Alice M. Knutson was born Mar. 14, 1940 in Lanesboro, MN to Wendall and Frances (Olson) Knutson. She grew up in Chatfield, MN where she graduated from high school. She married Lyle Holtegaard in 1958 in Chatfield where they made their home. Alice worked for the USDA, Department of Food Safety and Science, as an inspector for 33 years. After retiring she made her home in Rochester.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Mahn Family Funeral Home - Rochester Chapel with Rev. Maurice E. Hagen officiating. Friends may call one hour before the service on Thursday. Burial will be in the Chatfield Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Root Prairie Lutheran Church of Fountain, MN. Friends may share a memory at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com.
