Arlys Tlougan, 87, passed away Sunday February 15, 2015 at Samaritan Bethany Home on Eighth in Rochester.
She was born October 16, 1927 in Elgin Township, Wabasha County, to Fred and Alice Adler. She attended Rochester High School, graduating in 1945. On October 16, 1946 she married Sylvester (Sy) Tlougan. He passed away on October 9, 1992.
Arlys worked at several businesses as a bookkeeper and credit manager, and later at Northwestern National Bank as a teller. She enjoyed dancing, gardening, cards, and puzzles.
Arlys is survived by a daughter, Sandy (Art) Magruder of Rochester; a grandson, Jason Liebenow of Hayfield, a great-granddaughter, Ashlyn Liebenow; and a sister, Leola Wolfgram, of Rochester.
Arlys was preceded in death by her parents; and four brothers, Clifford, Lauren, Murvil, and Lowell Adler.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday February 17th at 11:00 AM at Mahn Family Funeral Home, 1624 37th Street NW, Rochester, and visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will occur later in the week at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester.
