Bonnie C. Siems age 79 of White Bear Lake, formerly of Mazeppa died on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul. A private family graveside will be held at Mazeppa Cemetery. In accordance with Bonnie's wishes there will be no public services.
Bonnie Colleen Siems was born on May 28, 1935 in Mazeppa, MN to F. John and Mildred B. (nee Clemens) Siems. She grew up in Mazeppa and graduated from Mazeppa High School in 1953. Bonnie attended and graduated from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 1957. She started working for the Mazeppa Journal and over the years worked her way up to be the Managing Editor of the paper. Bonnie worked for the paper until it was bought out in the early 1990's. In 1996 she moved to White Bear Lake and worked for a collection agency. Bonnie was an avid reader.
Bonnie is survived by her brothers, Kermit (Grace) Siems and Quenton (Charlene) Siems, both of Mazeppa, nieces and nephews and special friends, Rebecca Litman and Micki Day.
The family suggests memorials to donor's choice.
