Brandon Charles Angell, 20, formerly of Red Wing, died unexpectedly on Sunday, July 13, 2014. He was born March 9, 1994, in Red Wing, to Chris and Lisa (Hauck) Angell. He attended school in Red Wing through his junior year and moved to Baldwin, where he graduated from high school in 2012. During high school he played football, was involved in FFA and loved his shop and welding classes. He was able to continue his enjoyment for welding when he worked for
O.E.M in Woodville and later for Thomas and Bets in Hager City. He recently became employed with Vertical Limit in Wanamingo where he was training to be a tower climber. Throughout his life Brandon enjoyed fishing, target shooting, working on cars-especially foreign ones and spending time with his black lab, Buck; his friends and best friend, Dammon and his brothers and sister.
Brandon is survived by his father, Chris (Shelly) Angell of Red Wing; his mother, Lisa (Bob Ziegler) Angell of Baldwin, Wisc.; 3 siblings, Tyler Smith of River Falls and Jacob and Emily Angell of Red Wing; paternal grandparents, Gary Angell of Wabasha, Gail (Mike) Seymour and Roger and Mary Ann Flom both of Red Wing; maternal grandparents, Thomas Hauck of Spring Valley, Wisc. and Betty (Don) Christner of Elk Mound, Wisc.; paternal great-grandmother, Alice Cox of Lake City; many aunts, uncles and cousins, and his girlfriend, Emma Drazkowski.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Charles Cox, Robert and Mary Angell, James and Ellen Wampole and Arnold and Blanche Hauck and a great-aunt, Linda Hobbs.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, July 19, 2014 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 320 West Ave., Red Wing, with Reverend Kristen Schlauderaff officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Red Wing. A visitation will be held for 2 hours prior to the service at the church.
