Cheryl Ann Jeske

Cheryl Ann Jeske, 62, of Red Wing, died unexpectedly Sunday, September 18, 2016 at St. Marys Hospital, surrounded by her family. Cheryl was born July 14, 1954 in Red Wing to Maynard and Gladys (Martenson) Barghusen. She attended school in Red Wing graduating in 1973. She married Alan Jeske on July 6, 1974 at the Church of Saint Joseph. Over the years she worked at Josten's, Riviera Cabinets and most recently at Treasure Island Resort & Casino. She enjoyed animals, riding ATV, spending time with her friends and she greatly enjoyed her three granddaughters.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, Alan; two children, Laurie (Willie) Benway of Red Wing and Chris (Judith) Jeske of Red Wing; three granddaughters Belen, Mya and Sophia; three brothers, Clayton Barghusen of Minneapolis and Craig and Gary Barghusen both of Red Wing; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Reverend Kristen Schlauderaff officiating.
