Curtis Gaines Joslin

October 3, 1983 — August 12, 2017

Curtis Gaines Joslin, 33, of Saint Paul died on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at his home. Curtis was born to Everett "Sonny" and Carol Ann (Parmelee) Joslin on October 3, 1983 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He grew up in Anamosa and after his father passed away he moved to the Cannon Falls area where he graduated from high school. He moved to Santa Barbara, Cal. after graduation and attended college at Santa Barbara City College for Computer Science. After college, he went on to work for Service Objects and Right Scale both based out of California. He was entrusted to move back to Minnesota and work from home for these companies. He and Kelley moved back to Saint Paul in 2011 where they purchased their first home. Curtis enjoyed fishing, dirt biking, kayaking and was an excellent chef as well as an avid Star Trek fan. Those that loved Curtis will remember him for his selflessness and willingness to take care of those that he cared about. Curtis aspired to always be learning. In his memory, take the time to try and learn something new every day.

Curtis is survived by his mother, Carol of Red Wing; lifelong partner, Kelley Ewald of St. Paul; brother, Douglas (Judy) Davidson of Lonsdale; sisters, Cheryl Forbes of Campbellsport, Wis., Lisa (Doug) Miller of Dubuque, Iowa, and Julie Joslin of Red Wing; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; one uncle, Douglas Joslin; and his grandparents.
