Dennis Gregory Harding

Dennis Gregory Harding, 78, of Red Wing, died Thursday, May 11, 2017 at his home. He was born December 6, 1938 in Red Wing to Arnold and Blanche Harding. He graduated from Prescott High School in 1956 and began working for USG (ConWed) at the age of 17 and continued to work there for 29 years. He served in the U. S. Army from 1961 until his honorable discharge in 1963. He married Karen Bolland on July 12, 1971 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. The couple made their home in Red Wing. He would later work at the S. B. Foot Tannery, Bill Holst Construction, Wilson Hardware and finally MacTech, retiring from there in 2002. He enjoyed camping, boating, playing golf and taking care of his "fellas," poodles, Dusty and Peanut. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Leo C. Peterson, American Legion, Post 54.
He is survived by his wife, Karen; three children, Gwen (Joseph) Radosevich of Prior Lake, Joel Lindstrom of Lake City and Bette-Jayne Lindstrom of Rochester; grandchildren, Ali Lindstrom, Ryan Murphy, Mac Murphy, Neiko Koehne, Jessica Lindstrom, Maisey Makala, Alex and Zach Radosevich; great grandchildren, Brantley Koehne, Indigo and Jira Hoyme; sister, Diane (Lynn) Harding of Woodbury; brother, Alan (Pat) Harding of Hager City, Wisc.; and sister-in-law, Barb Harding of Red Wing. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, William Harding.
Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 17 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
