Funeral services for Dezmeion Poole will be held Saturday March 25th at 6:00 PM at Mahn Family Funeral Home - Rochester Chapel. The Reverend George Poole will officiate. Dezmeion, of Springfield, Illinois, died at his home on Friday March 17, 2017 at the age of 24.
Dezmeion Allen Poole was born April 19, 1992 in St. Joseph, Michigan. Raised in Springfield, he was a graduate of Springfield Southeast High School, where he excelled in football and baseball. Following graduation, Dezmeion attended college, worked various jobs, and then became a truck driver. He was currently driving for S&K Davidson in Springfield. He enjoyed traveling.
Dezmeion is survived by his significant other, Amanda Schroyer, of Springfield; children, Desiree Allieann Poole and Aiden Poole; his mother and step-father, Monica and Nathaniel Burton of Rochester, Minnesota; father, Dwayne Poole of Indianapolis, Indiana; brothers, Naison Burton, Rico McDowell, Samuel Poole, Sirshaun Poole, McKinley Poole, Dwayne Poole; sisters, Neariah Burton and Candis Poole; step-brothers, Malik Burton and Dionte Burton; his close friend Adrian Muex; cousin and close friend Christopher Burton. Also surviving are his step-grandfather Lamar Burton of Rochester, Minnesota; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Santino Poole.
The visitation will be he held Saturday from 4:00 PM until the time of service at Mahn Family Funeral Homes, 1624 - 37th Street NW, in Rochester, Minnesota.
