ROCHESTER - Diane M. Huse, age 71, of Rochester, died Thursday June 25, 2015 at her home.
Diane Marie Huse was born June 21, 1944 in Minneapolis, MN to Gordon and Mildred (Johnson) Huse. She was raised in Lexington Village, MN and graduated from high school in Circle Pines, MN. Diane attended St. Olaf College for two years, before transferring to the University of Minnesota where she finished her four year degree, and received her Master's Degree in Nutrition. She moved to Rochester in 1969 to work as a graduate student for the Mayo Clinic. Diane was a Pediatric Clinical Dietician for Mayo, retiring in 2009. Her activities in the community included Court Watch, National Night Out, and the VIPS Program with the Rochester Police Department. She was a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Diatetic Association. Diane was an avid reader who loved children, pets, and traveling.
Survivors include her brother, Gordon (Janet) Huse of Buena Park, CA; her uncle, Norman Johnson of Lexington Village, MN; nieces Kim (Joel) Meline of St. Paul, MN; and Cathy Huse of Buena Park, CA; nephews, Gordon Simmons Huse of Fullerton, CA; William (Lola) Huse of Yorba Linda, CA; Daniel (Mary) Huse of Woodbury, MN; and Jonathan Huse of Buena Park, CA; many grand nieces, grand nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
