Doris Baader, age 99, of Lake City passed away Monday, June 26, 2017 at Lake City Care Center in Lake City.
Doris was born on June 24, 1918 in Maxville, Wisconsin. On November 20, 1937, Doris married Lester Baader, and they made their home in Nelson, Wisconsin. She enjoyed crocheting and playing bingo. In 2012, Doris moved to Lake City.
Doris is survived by her grandson, Robert "Bob" (Darla Oelkers) Johnson of Lake City and her cat "Babe" She is preceded in death by her husband, Lester Baader; daughter, Shelby Johnson; son, Billy Baader.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 30, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Peterson Chapel in Lake City with Rev. Scott Fiege officiating. Committal will follow at 2:30 pm at the Nelson Cemetery in Nelson, Wisconsin. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Online condolences can be sent at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com
