Douglas Evenson, age 68, of Rochester, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Hospitals - Rochester, St. Mary's Campus surrounded by his family.

Douglas Patrick Evenson was born September 18, 1949 in Rochester to Lloyd and Dorothy (Griffen) Evenson. He was raised in Rochester and graduated from Lourdes High School. He then attended Rochester Community College. Doug worked in sales at Weber and Judd Drug Store for forty years. He had resided at Park Lane Estates in Preston, MN for the past ten years. He was a social coordinator for residents at Park Lane Estates. Doug was a member of The Church of St. Francis of Assisi in Rochester. He enjoyed horses, attending Fairs, and crossword puzzles.



Survivors include his brother Richard (Robin) Evenson of Rochester, and many cousins. His parents preceded him in death.



A Memorial Mass will be held at The Church of St. Francis of Assisi with Rev. Thomas Cook officiating, on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday at the church, and a reception will be held following the service. Spring burial of the Urn will be in St. Bridget's Catholic Church Cemetery in Simpson, MN.



Mahn Family Funeral Home - Rochester Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials are suggested to Camp Companion - Animal Rescue.
