Eileen Mae Laudon

Eileen M. Laudon, age 96 of Lake City died on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Mayo Clinic Health System-Lake City.
Eileen Mae Anderson was born on April 29, 1918 in Rochester, MN the daughter of Charles and Lennie (Hanson) Anderson. She graduated from Byron High School. She married Donald D. Laudon on May 19, 1940. The couple lived in Dover, MN until 1979 where Eileen worked with her husband at their family business (Laudon Brother's Feed and Seed). They moved to Lake City in 1979 following their retirement. Donald died on February 5, 2005. Eileen was a member of Eastern Star, Dover Methodist Church and the Lake City Methodist Church. She greatly enjoyed playing bridge, 500 and cribbage. She enjoyed fishing and was a wonderful homemaker who loved to cook, bake and entertain.
Eileen is survived by her daughter: Karen (Alan) Siegman of Excelsior, MN, three grandchildren: Ryan (Katie) Laudon of Pooler, GA, Nick (Katie Oldani) Laudon of Rochester, MN and Carrie (Greg )Larson of Eden Prairie, MN and five great-grandchildren: Hunter, Grant, Chase, Ava, Claire and one great granddaughter on the way and one step great granddaughter, Ali. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law: Donna Anderson of Rochester and Helen Corfits of Rochester.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Don, her brother Willard Anderson and recently her son: Delton in 2014.
Memorial services for Eileen will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at United Methodist Church of Lake City. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 from 4-7 p.m. at Mahn Family Funeral Home-Anderson-Peterson Chapel in Lake City and also one hour prior to services at the church. Memorials in Eileen's name to the church are appreciated.
