Elizabeth L. Halpaus

Elizabeth "Betty" Halpaus, 78, of Red Wing, died Friday, December 12, 2014, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems, Red Wing. She was born February 14, 1936, in Hastings, Minnesota, to Horace and Eleanora (Seibenaler) Keetley and graduated from Hastings High School. She married Wilbur Vanberg and together they had four children. They later divorced. She worked at the Red Wing Health Center and at Maple Hills Apartments, where she had lived for many years.
She is survived by 4 sons, Kenneth (Michelle Jones), Scott (Denese) and Steven (Sherri) all of Red Wing and Michael (Stacy) of Ellsworth; 7 grandchildren, Shawn, Kelsey and Max, Zachary, Justin and Joshua and Jason, Jay and Presten; 4 great-grandchildren, Madison, Riley, Vanassa and Natalee; 1 brother, Francis "Bud" Keetley of Hastings and 2 sisters, Florence (John) Mortzhein of Moorhead and Helen Oksons of Hastings.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sons and a brother, Kenneth Keetley.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 16 at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
