Jacqualyn Betty Tredup

Jacqualyn Betty Tredup, 80, of Red Wing, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017 silently at home with her family by her side. She was born October 20, 1936 to Merrille and Sophie (Anderson) Larson. She attended school in Red Wing at Jefferson Elementary and Central High School. She was a babysitter and then moved on to work at the Red Wing Shoe Company. After her children were in school she returned to the Red Wing Shoe Company in 1972 and worked there until her retirement.

Jacqualyn enjoyed baking and cooking and especially enjoyed making her oatmeal mint mistake cookies. She loved drinking coffee, playing card games- especially canasta, and spending time with friends and family. An animal lover, she loves spending time with her dog, Parker, and her cats. Jacqualyn loved music and enjoyed singing and playing the guitar. Everyone called her "mom". She was loved dearly by her family and will be greatly missed.

Jacqualyn is survived by her daughter, Sandra Tredup; sons, Daniel Tredup and Mark (Luann) Tredup; grandson, Shane Tredup; two great grandsons, Tanner and Parker; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Kenneth Larson and Robert Larson; grandparents; and one uncle Kenneth Larson, Sr.; and her ex-husband.
