Jenelle Evelyn Bossman, 68 of Lake City died Wednesday in Northfield. She was born on May 11, 1946 in Red Wing to Fredrick and Evelyn (Krause) Plote. She attended schools in Lake City and was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lake City. On May 18, 1968 she was united in marriage to Jerome Bossman. They lived in Lake City and she worked as a waitress at Larry's Broiler in Red Wing. She enjoyed making necklaces and bracelets with beads and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Jerome; one daughter, Michelle (Dale) Meyer of Red Wing; five grandchildren, Ashley, Desiree, D.J., Ray and Samantha; one sister, Sandra (Richard) McQuiston of Lake City and one brother, Robert (Joyce) Plote of Rochester. She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Richard; and a niece, Melissa.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Peterson Chapel with Reverend John Berg officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com
