Joyce Florence Kruse

Joyce Florence Kruse, 91, of Red Wing, died Saturday, June 20, 2015 at her home at Loving Residence. She was born on October 20, 1923 in Trenton Township, Pierce County, Wisconsin to Charles and Caroline (Nash) Hanson. She attended rural schools and on October 16, 1934, she married William Kruse in St. Paul. They farmed in Woodbury and then near Prescott for a number of years. In 1958 they moved to Red Wing where she worked as a housekeeper for various families. William died on August 26, 1997. She was a member of Bethel Covenant Church rural Ellsworth. She enjoyed fishing and camping, cooking and baking along with having a garden and sewing.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and 13 siblings.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Bethel Covenant Church rural Ellsworth with Reverend Todd Spieker officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
