Lorris Clarence Siewert

Lorris Clarence Siewert, age 74 of Lake City passed away unexpectedly on September 10, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN.
Lorris Clarence Siewert was born September 26, 1939 in Lake City the son of Clarence and Beatrice (Hadler) Siewert. Upon graduating from Lincoln High School in Lake City, he received his bachelor's degree in Agriculture from the University of Minnesota. Lorris and Carolyn Anderson were united in marriage on April 8, 1962. He served in the National Guard for 6 years. Lorris enjoyed farming most of his life near Oak Center. In 1989, Lorris and Carolyn moved to Lake City and he worked as a realtor. He had many accomplishments in his life but his greatest joy was his 13 grandchildren and attending all of their events.
Lorris is survived by his wife Carolyn of Lake City, his children, Dawn (John) Mueller of Austin, MN, Todd (Wendy) Siewert of Lake City, Wendy (Greg) Engstler of Oronoco, MN and Amy (John) Cronin of Lake City, MN, his grandchildren, John, Jacob, Hannah, and Matthew Mueller, Carley, Taylor and Shane Siewert, Dylan and Luke Thornton, Emily, Bailey, Molly and Jack Cronin, his brothers, Harlan (Dallyce) Siewert of Zumbro Falls, MN, Marcus Siewert of Longville, MN Kerwin (Sandra) Siewert of Zumbro Falls and Marlyn (Leah) Siewert of Lake City and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Beatrice Siewert
Funeral services for Lorris will be held at United Methodist Church, Lake City on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. Reverend Dahmon Romness will officiate. Visitation will be held at Mahn Family Funeral Home-Anderson Peterson Chapel on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 5-8:00 p.m. and again at the church one hour prior to services on Saturday. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery and pallbearers will be his 13 grandchildren.
