Marilynne Stasioski

January 16, 1949 — June 28, 2018

It is with heavy hearts that we acknowledge the passing of our beloved Marilynne Stasioski, wife, mother, grandma, (meme) and great grandmother, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 16, 1949, in Chicago, IL to Harold and Marion (McCarthy) Boy. She grew up in the Chicago area and attended school there. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Stanley Stasioski, Jr., on June 1, 1968. They lived in Chicago until 1979, when they moved to Red Wing. Marilynne worked at Interstate Medical Clinic and Treasure Island Resort and Casino. They later moved to Chippewa Falls, WI, where she was a real estate agent, retiring in 2013. They returned to Red Wing in 2014. She enjoyed the Casino, traveling to Alabama, enjoying the beach and the zoo and spending time with her grandchildren and great granddaughter.
Marilynne is survived and remembered by her husband, Stan of 50 years of Red Wing; daughters, Yvette (Kent) Jurgenson of Cincinnati, OH and Yvonne (Tony) Larson of Ellsworth; grandchildren, Kody, Bailey, Kaitlyn, Emma, Brayden and Julia; great grandchildren, Kennedy and Paisley, (due in July); two sisters, Jackie (Al) Sarno and Lorie (Eric) Bergland both of Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Carol Mazur.
A private family gathering for Marilynne will be held at the family residence. Memorials are preferred to the Alabama Coastal Foundation, as Marilynne loved the Alabama Coast and the marine life or the COPD Foundation. Online condolences maybe sent to the family at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com.
