Robert "Bobby" Scheitel

Robert M. Scheitel, 63, formerly of Wanamingo and Red Wing, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017 at the Lake City Care Center. He was born Dec. 11, 1954 in Zumbrota to Herbert and Dorothy Scheitel. He lived at the River View Services Home in Wanamingo and had attended the day program at Opportunity Services. He was a member of Cross of Christ & Vasa Lutheran Churches. He is survived by siblings, Doris Farley, Herbert (Kay) Scheitel, Mildred Niebeling, Florence Keppers, David and Dwight Scheitel and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Myrtle, Virginia and Charles Scheitel and Ruth Thompson.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Sat., January 27 at the Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, 24036 Cty 7 Blvd., Welch with Reverend Bob Berktold officiating. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial at the church cemetery will be at a later date.
