Rory L. Golden

Rory Lewis Golden, 65, much loved by wife, daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, passed away at his home Thursday, February 19, 2015 after a lengthy illness. He was born in Lawton, OK to Lorena Golden. He later moved to Red Wing where he attended school. After graduation he married Victoria Beckman. He was employed by Vasa Children's Home and by the Goodhue County Law Enforcement Center. He loved his family most of all, but he also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Victoria, daughters: Melissa (Mark) Boyum of Red Wing and Diana Golden of Duluth, MN; grandchildren: Tucker Wiech, Taylor (Megan) Wiech, Tiffany Wiech, Sierra Boyum and Sydney Boyum; great-grandson Micah, Wiech and a great-granddaughter to arrive in April; siblings: Ray (Pam) Golden, Dottie Johnson and Jean Bennett; nieces and nephews; and his favorite pet, Captain Cosmo III. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorena Golden; one daughter, Jennifer Golden; and siblings, David and Jerry Golden and Velma Paulsen.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2015, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
