Rosemary "Rosie" Kinneman

Rosemary "Rosie" Elaine Kinneman, 65, of Hager City, Wisconsin, died peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday, August 12, 2014, with her family and friends at her side. She was born April 28, 1949, in Red Wing, to Earl and Mary Ellen (Johnson) Flynn. She graduated in 1967 from Red Wing Central High School. Following graduation she worked at the Red Wing Shoe Company for a number of years. She was united in marriage to Dean Kinneman on June 20, 1970. In 1987 she began working for Braschler's Bakery and then for Hansich Bakery, until retiring in 2011. Although she worked outside of the home, her number one job was as a homemaker. Rosie enjoyed cooking, camping, fishing, planting flowers and bird watching. In addition she also enjoyed spending time on Little Blake Lake in Wisconsin and most of all, being with her family and friends. She was a member of Church of The Messiah, NFO and was a past 4-H Co-Leader for Pierce County.
She is survived by her husband, Dean; 2 daughters, Wendy (Troy) Dawson of Menomonie, Wis. and Melissa (Jeff) Hill of Hager City; 2 grandchildren, Tyler Kinneman and Raeiah Whyte; her mother, Mary Ellen Flynn of Welch; siblings, Michael (Shirley) Flynn of Frontenac, Barb (Mike) Wiley of Welch, Charles (Barb) Flynn of Welch, Loren (Donna) Flynn of Hastings, Paul (Linda) Flynn of Red Wing, Bruce Flynn of Welch, Gary (Jean) Flynn of Welch, Stanley (Sue) Flynn of Hager City and Arlene Childs of Welch and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and 2 nephews, Todd Wiley and Todd Westfield.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 16, 2014, at Christ Episcopal Church in Red Wing with Father Johnson Loud officiating. Burial will be at Diamond Bluff Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, August 15, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
