Susan M. Perrotti age 78 of Lake City, formerly of Mazeppa passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at The Bluffs of Lake City Senior Living. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Mazeppa with Father William Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the Mahn Family Funeral Home - Larson Chapel in Zumbrota and on Thursday for one hour prior to the mass at the church.
Susan Mary Hofschulte was born on September 29, 1939 in Rochester, MN to William and Christeva (Schwersinskie) Hofschulte. Susan grew up in Rochester and graduated from Lourdes High School in 1957. Susan started working at St. Marys Hospital. On April 18, 1959 she married Donald J. Perrotti at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Rochester. They made their home in rural Mazeppa. Susan was a farm homemaker for many years until her divorce. After her divorce Susan worked for the DHIA Lab in Zumbrota, and McDonalds in Red Wing. Susan liked to crochet and made many afghans for family and friends. She had a large collection of bird figurines, enjoyed traveling and loved to work on puzzle books. Susan was known for always smiling and laughing.
Susan is survived by her children, William (Tami) Perrotti of Augusta, WI, James (Shirley) Perrotti of Mazeppa, Robert Perrotti of Rochester, Jeanne (Gary) Salfer of New Richmond, WI, Gerald (Rebecca) Perrotti of Hinckley, Terrence (Zulma) Perrotti of St. Charles and Joseph Perrotti of Zumbrota; grandchildren, Rebecca (Dan) Cebelinski, Holly Perrotti, Rosa Perrotti, Gabriella Perrotti, Maranda (Joe) Lerum, Brianne (Luke) Klingsporn, Rebecca (Joe) Buck, Tony (Brittany) Cordes, Melanie (Josh) Leonard, Emily (Bennett) Engh, Jonah Salfer, Lindsey Salfer, Brooke Salfer, Victoria Salfer, Christeva Perrotti, Jacob Perrotti, Ethan Perrotti, Samantha Perrotti, Hannah Perrotti, Sarah Perrotti, Kayla Perrotti, Liliana Perrotti, Peyton Andring, Reeve Andring and Alexia Andring; great-grandchildren, Amelia and Wyatt Cebelinski, Kasey and Cheyenne Cordes, Ivy Buck and Ella Klingsporn; sisters, Kathy (Richard) Holst and Phylis Tillinghaust both of Mazeppa and Diana (Ralph) Grobe of Zumbro Falls; brother-in-law, Kevin Loecher of Rochester and sister-in-law, Mary (Robert) Heppelmann of Bellechester.
Susan was preceded in death by her grandson, Benjamin Cordes, granddaughter, Jessieka Cordes, step granddaughter, Heidi Hundorf, sister, Karen Loecher and brother, John Hofschulte.
