Vera Byington

Vera Byington, age 74, of Maiden Rock, died December 14, 2014 at her sisters residence. She was born September 5, 1940 in Pepin, WI to Dale and Irene (Anderson) Byington. She grew up in Bay City, WI. The past 41 years she lived at her cabin in Warrentown. She worked many jobs including fry Cook, Pinsetter, construction, and lastly she worked at Red Wing Shoe in maintenance. Vera loved life, and her friends and family. She had many talents and loved all challenges and new experiences.

She is survived by her sister, Karen (Davis) Niebeling of Bay City; nephew, Travis (Janelle) Niebeling of River Falls, WI; great nephew, Logan Niebeling of River Falls; and many wonderful friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Garnet Bruce Byington.

Memorials service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel, with Reverend Barbara von Haaren.
