A memorial service for William "Bill" Rabehl will be held Tuesday June 19th at 11:00 AM at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Rochester Chapel. The Reverend Linda Helberg will officiate. Burial of the urn will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Mr. Rabehl, 88, of Rochester, died Thursday June 14, 2018 in Rochester. Visitation will be Monday June 18th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Mahn Family Funeral Home, and will continue one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
Bill Rabehl was born June 11, 1930 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester to Ed and Ersel (Williams) Rabehl. He graduated from Rochester High School in 1948 and started farming with his parents, raising Registered Guernsey cattle. He married Barb Krudwig in 1952, and they continued farming with his folks. In 1974 his folks died, and Bill and Barb took over the farm. They had three children: Becki (Stan) Anderson, Jeff (Debbie Syring) Rabehl, and Sandi (Lowell) Kruger; three grandchildren, Jessica (Adam Magnuson), Jacob (Kelsey Kent), and Kayla (Jason Hinz); six great-grandchildren, Brayden, Kylie, and Kaitlyn Magnuson, and Tate, Wyatt, and Teagan Ness.
