Obituary
Diane Marie (Scott) McDonald, 68, of Rochester, passed away March 20, 2023 at St. Mary's hospital with family by her side. She was born June 2, 1954, in Chicago Illinois to J.W. and Mary Louise Scott.
Diane had a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh. Her home was always welcoming and filled with warmth, love, laughter and food. She enjoyed cooking, reading and crossword puzzles but her greatest love was being surrounded by family. Diane was the proud mother of four children who were her pride and joy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Louise and J.W. Scott, her Son Lazerrick Shumpert, and her sister Linda Sawyer.
Diane leaves to mourn, her Daughters Latia and Keayona, her son Derrick, her brothers Robert, Mickey, James and David, her sisters Ann and Cherry (Red), 12 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren, and a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Diane never allowed love ones to say "Goodbye" we could only tell her "Later". She always told us that she loved us "More"
Diane we love you the most and we will see you LATER!
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Rochester Community and Baptist Church Friday, March 31st from 2-4pm.
