Marsha Louise (Vagt) Kettner

Marsha Kettner, 71, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023 surrounded by her family .  Marsha Louise Vagt was born March 22, 1951 in Rochester, Minnesota to Edwin and June (Wegner) Vagt.  She was raised in the Hammond, MN area and graduated from Rochester John Marshall High School in 1969.  On July 20, 1973, Marsha was united in marriage to Robert Kettner.  She enjoyed gardening, sewing, fishing and most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren. 

                Marsha is survived by her four children, Jennifer (Andrew) Reeves of Mankato, Christa Kettner of Pine Island, Jeremy (Erica) Kettner of Zumbrota, and Jonathan (Cheryl) Kettner of Lanesboro; seven grandchildren; siblings, Lance (Ruth) Vagt, Edwin (Reva) Vagt Jr., Steve (Gladys) Vagt, Robin (Raymond) Bye; sister-in-law, Susan Vagt; brother-in-law, Bobby Crawford.

                She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; grandson Hunter Bergo; her brother Bruce; sisters-in-law, Lois Silker, Phyllis Crawford, and brother-in-law, Ken Silker.

  The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 18 at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oronoco, with Pastor Roger Riedel officiating.  Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church.  Interment will be at Poplar Grove Cemetery, at a later date.
