Alexander James DeGroat, age 3 months, passed away on Thursday, July 26, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, in the loving arms of his parents. He was born April 23, 2018, in Red Wing, to Alijja Dougherty and Caleb DeGroat.
He is survived by his parents; grandparents, Amy (Jeff) Huffman and Timothy DeGroat; great-grandmother, Virginia Sanders; uncles, David (Kristina) Dougherty, Justin Dougherty, Brandon (Ashleigh) Denzer and TJ DeGroat and cousins, Jada, Zoe, Loki, Genesys, Braydon, Adrian, Justin Jr. and Harley.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sandra DeGroat, uncle, Jacob DeGroat and great-grandmother, Delma Johnston.
Memorial service will be 1pm Saturday, August 4, 2018 at United Lutheran Church.
