Ann H. Jossens, age 77 of Zumbrota died on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at the Pine Haven Care Center in Pine Island.
Ann H. Steege was born on September 19, 1942 in Red Wing, MN to Raymond and Gladys (Husbyn) Steege. Ann grew up in the Zumbrota area and graduated from Zumbrota High School in 1960. Ann attended Winona State College and graduated in 1964 with a double major in Elementary Education and Music Education. Ann taught in Michigan for ten years before returning to Zumbrota to help care for her father. Ann went to Beauty School in Rochester and then started working at the Hair Designers in Zumbrota. Ann retired in 2007 from the Hair Designers.
Ann is survived by her brothers, Gerald Steege and Wayne (Cindy) Steege, both of Zumbrota; five nieces, Lisa (Bill) Anderson of Plymouth, Sheri (Paul) Helin of Blaine, Sara Steege of Annandale, Jacklin Steege of Nisswa and Kaitlin Steege of Duluth and five great nieces and nephews.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Gladys and sister-in-law, Delores Steege.
In accordance with Ann's wishes there will be no services. A private family graveside will be held at a later date.
Mahn Family Funeral Home - Larson Chapel assisted the family with cremation arrangements.
