Bernice B. Knowles, 94, of Red Wing, died Friday, May 3, 2019 at St Crispin Living Community. She was born on April 28, 1925 to William and Irma (Gueltzow) Schultz. On June 14, 1946 she was united in marriage to Max Gerald Knowles. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, going on walks, sitting in her swing and most importantly hanging out with her family.
She is survived by daughter Pam; two sons, Rod and Rick; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one son, Bob; one daughter, Gerrie; step-mother, Frieda; three sisters, Verna, Olivia, Belva; one brother, Walter.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 9, 2019, at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Bodelson-Mahn Chapel. Visitation will be at 10:30 until the time of the service. Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
