Cal H. Reeve

Cal H. "Cal" Reeve, of Newbury Park, CA died Thursday, March 14, 2019 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. Born in Red Wing, MN to Elaine and Kenneth Reeve, he graduated from Zumbrota High School.
He served in the U.S. Navy as RadarmanFirst Class on the USS Vesole DD-878/DDR878 and, after his discharge, he attended the University of Minnesota for four years.
Cal married Marilyn Anderson of of Zumbrota, MN in 1965 in San Francisco. They moved to Newbury Park in 1975, where they lived happily ever after.
Cal went to work for St. Paul Insurance Company as an underwriter and moved up to Marketing Manager. He remained in the insurance industry until his retirement in 1998 and spent many of his retirement years golfing and traveling. he enjoyed volunteering at church and marshalling golf tournaments.
Cal is survived by his wife Marilyn; sisters Shirlee Drenckhahn and Judy Reeve; sister-in-law Berniece Naeseth; brothers-in-law SIdney (Diane) Anderson and Wayne Anderson; and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
