Carol Jean Barnett

Carol Jean Barnett, 65, of Red Wing, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at her home. She was born December 17, 1954, in Stanley, Wisconsin, to Joseph and Hazel (Hazeman) Lynn. Her family moved to Minnesota and she graduated from Cannon Falls High School. She enlisted in the US Army in July of 1977 and served until she was honorably discharged in April of 1979. While in the Army, Carol met her husband, Robert Barnett. The two were married and together they had three children, Robert, Sebrina and Brandy. The couple later divorced. Carol worked several places in Red Wing throughout the years, some including Treasure Island, ProAct and Walmart. In her free time, she enjoyed playing games on her computer, Farmville 2: Country Escape being one of her favorites. Spending time with her family was very special to Carol and she adored her grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed by her 3 children, Robert J. Barnett of Red Wing, Sebrina (Dale Coone) Barnett of Red Wing and Brandy Barnett of Red Wing; 7 grandchildren, Jonathan Joseph, Nikole Jean, Daniel Joseph, Austin Leander, Justin Allen, Hailey Marie and Tayla Ranee and one sister, Patsy (John) Williams of Vasa. She was preceded in death by an infant brother and her parents.
