Dean Raymond Vieths

Dean Raymond Vieths, 51, of Red Wing, died on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at his home. He was born in Red Wing on September 1, 1968 to Clyde and Janet (Oftedahl) Vieths. He graduated from Red Wing Central High School in 1987. After graduating Dean worked several different jobs including 25 years with the Red Wing Shoe Company. He liked watching NASCAR, football and enjoyed spending quality time with family. He was known for joking with people and sharing many laughs. He also enjoyed pets, especially his cat "Midnight".

He is survived by his mother Janet; three sisters, Tammy (Mark) Anderson, Lisa (Sam) Kittleson and Holly Vieths; nephew, Danny Vieths, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Clyde, grandparents, aunt and great-aunt. The family is having a celebration of life from 4-8 on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Liberty Restaurant in Red Wing.
