Ethel M. Moyer age 93 of Lake City passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019 at the Lake City Care Center.
Ethel was born May 1, 1926 in Lake City to Otto & Alma (VonHelmst) Willers. She married Robert Moyer on June 21, 1949 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lake City. Ethel worked for 22 years at the Dwelle Telephone Company and the Lake City Hospital. She was a member of the St. John's Ladies Aid, Lake City Historical Society and the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening.
Ethel is survived by her daughter, Rebecca (Robert) Boeck of New London, WI; her sons, Robert (Margaret) Moyer of Dallas, TX., Richard (Marcene) Moyer of Lake City, Randall Moyer of Lake City, Russell Moyer of Mims, FL., Rodney (Elizabeth) Moyer of Frontenac; 13 Grandchildren, 37 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert C Moyer, a brother Vernon Willers and a sister, Bernice Plote.
Funeral Services will be on Saturday June 8, 2019 at 11:00 am at St. John's Lutheran Church of Lake City, with Pastor Nathan Cordes officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the Funeral. Burial will be at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Lake City. Memorials are preferred to donors choice. Funeral arrangements are by the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Peterson Chapel.
