Fern Angeline Feindt, 105, of Red Wing, died on Monday, January 20, 2020, at the St. Crispin Living Community. She was born in Hay Creek Township on February 14, 1914, to Charley and Cora (Watson) Cordes. She attended rural schools near Hay Creek. She was united in marriage to Arthur Feindt on June 20, 1933 in Frontenac. They lived in Red Wing, where she was a homemaker. Arthur died on April 12, 1991. Fern enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her two daughters, Phyllis Mathew of Minneapolis and Fay (Larry) Peterson of Red Wing; one son, Dan Feindt of Red Wing; four grandchildren, Holly (Scott) Powers, Amy (Chris) Ratzloff, Brenda Olson, and Karissa Feindt Diercks; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren and one sister, Robin (Richard) Burkard of Burnsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur; two sisters, Irene Olson and Joyce Mehrkens; and two brothers, Wayne and Ray Cordes.
Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 24, 2020, at the Mahn Family Funeral Homes, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
