Harvey Post

Harvey Donald Post, age 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Bayview Nursing Home in Red Wing. He was born November 21, 1937 in Red Wing, to Ervin and Evelyn (Ehlers) Post. He attended Mazeppa High School and was enlisted in the Air Force from January 1956 to January 1962. He married Carol Weatherly but they were later divorced. He worked fixing sewing machines and vacuum cleaners, and enjoyed garage saling, tinkering, and collecting old toys. He was a member of the American Legion Post 0588 and St. John's Lutheran Church in Mazeppa. He is survived by a daughter Denise (Guy) Whipple and three grandchildren Maurria, Rachel and Olivia. He is preceded in death by parents Ervin and Evelyn Post. A celebration of life service will be held at Mahn Funeral Home Zumbrota Chapel on July 2 from 5-8pm and a private graveside service will be held on a later date.
