Jean Beatrice (Steele) Dodge, 83.
September 27th 2018, Jean Beatrice Dodge, 83, of Hager City WI, died Thursday at St. Crispin Living Community in Red Wing MN surrounded by her family. She was born August 13th, 1935 in Red Wing MN, daughter of Elmer and Elvira (Lohman) Steele. She graduated Red Wing High School. On July 17th 1953, she married Burtton Dodge in Hager City WI. She recently moved back to Wisconsin from Texas due to health concerns. She worked at Red Wing Shoe Company for 43 years in manufacturing and the mailroom. She enjoyed playing cards, gardening, and feeding the birds.
Survivors include one daughter, Debbie (Dwight) Regelman of Hager City; three sons, Dave (Tammy) of Diamond Bluff; Doug (Lori) of Hager City; and Darryl (Jody) of Red Wing; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; three brothers, Willard of Red Wing, Minn.; Leonard (LuAnn) of Parkers Prairie, Minn.; Vernon (Mary) of Hager City, Wis.; two sisters Audrey of Ellsworth, Wis.; Joan of Red Wing, MN; one sister-in-law Donna of Hager City. Preceding her in death is her husband Burtton Dodge, one son Danny Dodge; her sister Elaine Meier (Clifford); one brother Donnie Steele; one sister-in-law Joan Steele; two brother-in-laws Bob Winn and Vernie Aslakson; and one great grandchild Mia Bella Dieffenderfer.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, October 4th at Laurel Presbyterian Church in Hager City, Wis. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. at the church. Burial at Trenton Cemetery. Pallbearers are Cory, Nick, Nate, Ryan, Marcus Dodge, Kelly Parmeter, Kristin Dieffenderfer, and Amanda Downing. Memorials are preferred to any charities of your choice in her honor. Arrangements with the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com
