Judd Franklin Lindeen, 68, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018, in Scottsdale, Arizona after battling cancer.
Judd was born on October 4, 1949 to Homer and Jean (Stewart) Lindeen, and was a life long resident of Rochester, MN. He attended Lourdes High School, but graduated from Mayo High School in 1967. After graduation, he enrolled at Dunwoody College and received a degree in Machine Tool Technology. Judd joined the Navy in 1969 and served for four years.
Judd worked for Gauthier Industries, Hirman Insurers, Crenlo, IBM, Fil-Mor Express, among other places, and retired from Pharmaceutical Specialties, Inc. in 2015. In retirement, he spent his winters in Mesa, AZ, and his summers out on Lake Zumbro. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, dancing and pontoon rides on the lake.
Judd is survived by his children, Kevin (Stephanie) Lindeen of Rochester, MN, Jon (Holly) Lindeen of Cave Creek, AZ; 5 grandchildren, Alexander, Nicole and Abigail of Rochester, MN, Cooper and Charlotte of Cave Creek, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Jerry.
A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, May 17 at 11 a.m., at Pax Christi Catholic Church with Father Jonathan Fasnacht officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 16 at Mahn Family Funeral Home-Rochester Chapel and will continue for one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church.
