Kenneth O Forgue

Kenneth O Forgue Jr., 74, of Lake City, passed away on April 9, 2019 at the Lake City Care Center. Kenneth was born on December 8, 1944 in Kankakee Illinois, to Kenneth Forgue Sr. and Pauline (Kamp) Forgue.

Kenneth grew up in Fairchild Wisconsin area. He joined the Army in 1962 and served for 2 years. After being discharged in 1964 he moved to the Eau Claire, Wisconsin area. Kenneth married Judy Peper on August 19, 1967 in Goodhue, Minnesota. After Kenneth and Judy married they lived in Wisconsin until 1972 when they moved to Lake City. Kenneth worked at Federal Mogul until 2001 when an injury caused him to retire. He was an avid golfer and bowler, and loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Judy (Peper) Forgue of Lake City; two sons, Todd (Jenny George) Forgue of Lake City, Kenneth Forgue III of Honolulu, Hawaii; two grandsons Nicholas and Daniel Forgue; two sisters, Jeannie (Keith) Browne of Austin, Texas and Teresa (Jim) Denton of Houston, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Leroy and Joseph Forgue.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 15, 2019, at 11:00 AM at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Bodelson Mahn Chapel in Red Wing, Minnesota with Deacon Pat Evans officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Red Wing. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.
