Kiley Jo Reich-Winberg

June 25, 1988 — December 14, 2018

Kiley Jo Reich-Winberg, 30, of Red Wing, died on Friday, December 14, 2018, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester. She was born on June 25, 1988, in Mankato to Bryan and Chris (Lewis) Reich.
When she was five, her family moved to Red Wing. In 2007, she graduated from Red Wing High School, where she played volleyball. One of the highlights of her volleyball career was playing on the court with her younger sisters.
One of the best parts of high school for Kiley was meeting her future husband, Jordan Winberg, in her junior year. The high school sweethearts were married on August 8, 2015. He has been her rock and soul.
Kiley attended Minnesota State University, Mankato graduating cum laude in 2011, with a degree in elementary education. This past May, she received her master's degree in special education from Concordia University in St. Paul. Since 2012, she has taught 2nd and 4th grade students at Cannon Falls Area Schools.
Teaching was her passion. She enjoyed the students not only in the classroom, but also coaching them in volleyball, both at Cannon Falls schools and on JO volleyball teams. She also assisted at TNT Gymnastics in Red Wing.
Kiley was a very kind, thoughtful, and courageous person. She always put others before herself, regardless of what the situation was or how she was feeling. Her family and friends meant the world to her and being an aunt to her nephews was one of her greatest joys. She also loved her fur babies, Bentley and Knox.
Kiley is survived by her husband, Jordan; parents, Bryan and Chris of Red Wing; two sisters, Bryanna (Joe) Sandquist of Cottage Grove and Emily Reich of Red Wing; her sister by heart, Molly Matthees of Goodhue; four nephews, Sam, Will, AJ and George Sandquist; her maternal grandfather, Jarrett Lewis of Mankato; paternal grandfather, Dale Reich of St. Clair; her mother and father-in-law, Susan and Alan Winberg of Red Wing; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Winberg along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandmothers.
