Kip Linden Baringer

Kip Linden Baringer, 66, of Red Wing, died Friday, March 8, 2019, at his home. He was born on September 15, 1952, in Red Wing to Marvin "Barry" and Jean (Anderson) Baringer. He graduated from Red Wing High School in 1970 and from Mankato State University in 1974 with a degree in business. He worked for Kind Accounting and was a controller for V-tek Inc. and Taylor Corp. all in Mankato. Following his retirement he moved back to Red Wing in 2013. He was a member of First Covenant Church and enjoyed music, watching movies and being with his family.

Kip is survived by his mother, Jean; one brother, Kevin Baringer and one sister, Darla Fulton all of Red Wing and his nephew and godchild, Nicholas (Amber Eggenberger) Fulton of Lake City. He was preceded in death by his father on January 19, 2010.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Reverend Marc Eix officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Burnside Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Memorials are preferred to the American Diabetes Association or First Covenant Church.
