Lillian A. Huston-Ortiz, 68, of Byron, MN passed away unexpectedly Monday October 28, 2019 at her home. Lilly was born March 11, 1951 in Raton, New Mexico and graduated high school from Carson High School in Carson, California. Lilly moved to Rochester, MN in 1978 with her family and over the years, made many longtime friends working for the Mayo Clinic and JCPenney's.
Lilly had a generous and caring heart and loved to spend time with her children, friends and family. She will be dearly missed.
Lilly was survived by her son John Huston of Minneapolis, MN, her daughter Lindy Huston of Byron, MN and her sister Kathy Ortiz of San Pedro, CA.
Lilly was preceded in death by both of her parents John and Erma Ortiz of Torrance, CA.
A Memorial Reception will be held November 22nd, 2019 at the Southern Hills Community Clubhouse in Stewartville, MN (105 20th street NW) from 3:30 PM-7:30 PM, to celebrate her life.
She will be interred at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA next to her parents. Online condolences are welcome and may be shared at mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com.
