Marcella Joy Cook, 84, of Red Wing, died Monday, April 16, 2018, at her home with her family by her side. She was born Feb. 11, 1934, in Red Wing, to Newton and Eunice (Anderson) Gilbert and graduated from Red Wing Central High in 1952. She was united in marriage to Earl Cook on June 7, 1952 and they lived in Red Wing. She worked at DBI Industries, Knudsen Cheesecakes and Caramels and Norwood. Earl died August 16, 1988. Marcella enjoyed crafts, sewing, puzzles, loving her three kitties and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Susan (Richard) Stodola, Gerald (Terri) Cook, Barbara Cook, Michael Cook, Keith (Sharon) Cook and Peter (Jeanne) Cook; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and a brother, Adrian (Phyllis) Gilbert.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her grandson, Joe Stodola.
