Mary Nhep Suos

SUOS, Mary, (Nhep) age 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday November 16 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester Minnesota. She was born February 6th 1944, in Battambang Province, Cambodia. Mary (Nhep) is the loving wife of Paul Chum, whom she married in 1964. Together they had seven beautiful children; Sunrom, Sumany, Khanika, Vannak, Vannarith (passed away at age 8), Vanna, Vannareth and Mithouna. After the communist take-over in Cambodia, Mary (Nhep) and Paul made the decision to leave their home in Cambodia and find a new home in America. There they settled in Rochester, Minnesota which later became the place where they raised their children and grandchildren.
The burial ceremony will be held at Oakwood Cemetery 38 7th Ave NE Rochester MN 55906 on Friday 11/22/2019 at 11:00am. Followed by a Buddhist ceremony at the mobile home watt Saturday 11/23/2019 at 9:30am 739 55th ST NE Rochester MN 55906.
