Michael Leslie Rolfson

Michael L. Rolfson age 49, of Rochester passed peacefully away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the Pine Haven Care Center. A memorial mass will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Michael in Pine Island with Father Randal Kasel celebrating the mass. Inurnment will be at a later date. A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the Mahn Family Funeral Home - Mahler Chapel in Pine Island and on Friday for one hour prior to the mass at the church.
Michael Leslie Rolfson was born on November 11, 1968 in Rochester, MN to Leslie and Barbara (nee Olson) Rolfson. Mike grew up in Pine Island, was active in football and track at Pine Island High School and graduated in 1987. After high school Mike attended St. Cloud State University and Inver Hills Community College. He made many close friends along the way. Mike had various careers throughout the years, but his amazing sense of humor and love for sports never changed. Mike was a huge fan of all Minnesota sports teams, especially the Wild, Twins and the Vikings. Mike also had a passion for motorcycles and took advantage of every opportunity to ride his Harley Davidson.
Mike is survived by his parents, Leslie and Barbara of Pine Island; brothers, Ronald (Kelley) of Pine Island, Jeffrey of Winona, and Steven of Bloomington; and girlfriend, Julie Powell of Rochester. Mike was a special uncle to, Ashley, Emily, Leif, Isla and Josselyn Rolfson and Hailey Hoffmann. Mike will also be missed by aunts, uncles and many cousins.
Please give a big "Cheer" for Mike and remember him during the next Vikings game!
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Rolfson family where they will be given to the Pine Haven Care Center in memory of Mike.
