Robert Virnig

Robert "Bob" John Virnig, 62, of Zumbro Falls, died Wednesday, December 18, 2019. He was born on June 19, 1957 in Rochester to Gerald and Ruth (Colgen) Virnig. He went to various schools and started farming at a young age. He married Lisa Perkins on January 6, 1996, the two were married for 23 years. Robert farmed for Siewert-Holstein's farm until he retired. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching derbies, playing horseshoes, cards, camping and signing karaoke.

He is survived by wife Lisa; children, Krista (Chad) Briggs, Korrie Lane, Kassi Lane, Brandi (Mike) Dokken, Amanda Virnig, Brandon (Bonnie) Jones, Josh Olson and Bradley Jones; siblings, Bill (Mary) Virnig, Maryanne (Dan) Champange, Sue Virnig, Sandy (Wayne) Sanford; 19 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and 2 buns in the oven; sister-in-law, Sue LaMaster as well as many nieces, nephews and other loving family. He was preceded in death by parents; brother, Pete; sister-in-law, Janet Perkins; mother and father-in-law, Judy and Fran Plank.
