Rose Marie Henifin

Rose Marie Henifin, 63, of Red Wing, died Monday, February 17, 2020 at the Bay View Care Center. She was born February 24, 1956 to Lyle and Maxine (Lafferty) Pfingsten. She grew up in Red Wing and when she older, divided her time between Minnesota and Seattle Washington. She raised two children. Rose loved cooking and enjoyed finding new recipes to experiment with. She managed to amass a large collection of well-loved cookbooks. She enjoyed keeping birds, especially the ones she was able to teach to speak. She also loved her little dog, Dalton. She was fun loving and knew how to throw a good party. Known for being a little feisty and a lot of fun, Rose will be missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Amber of Ellsworth, Wisc.; one grandson, Walker Nickelsen; brother, Terry Pfingsten of Seattle and dog, Dalton. She is preceded in death by her son, Justin Pfingsten; brother, Rickey and their parents.

Memorial service will be 11 am, Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel, Red Wing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com
