Sherrill Wolfe

Sherrill M. Wolfe, age 70, of Lake City, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Lake City Care Center. Sherrill was born on October 15, 1948 to Dorman and Ardelle (Hawkenson) Arden in California and spent her youth in Alaska. Sherrill later moved to Minnesota and in 1977 moved to Lake City where she worked at Federal Mogul as a machinist for over 35 years until she retired in 2014. She enjoyed spending time at the lake, fishing, reading, doing puzzles and with family and friends.


Sherrill is survived by her daughter Melissa (Lance) Brackee of Chaska, MN, two sons, Daryl Hern of Baron, WI, David (Vickie) Wolfe of Wabasha, MN, 7 grandchildren, 5 brothers, Dorman "Coke" (Sheila) Arden Jr. of Newburg, MD, George Arden of Red Wing, MN, Ronald (Shannon Bach) Arden of Grantsburg, WI, Michael Arden of Red Wing, MN, John "P-nut" (Patti) Arden of Red Wing, MN, and three sisters, Deb (Jim) Walker of Iron River, MI, Cindy Arden of Red Wing, MN. June Arden of Colorado Springs, CO. Sherrill was proceeded in death by her parents, one sister Vicki Albarado, one brother Rick Arden and long-time partner Roy Peterson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel in Lake City. Interment will be in Lakewood Cemetery at a later date. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com
