Stanley Kraig Swanson

Stanley "Kraig" Swanson, 70, of Zumbro Falls, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at St. Marys Hospital surrounded by family.
He was born August 3, 1949 in Red Wing, Minnesota to Stanley and Violet (Jackson) Swanson. He graduated from Wanamingo High School in 1967. On September 24, 1973, he married Jacqueline Haller.
Kraig was a mechanic at Syverson Hardware in Wanamingo and then moved to Rochester Ford Tractor as Service Manager. He then switched careers to truck driving, retiring from ABF.
Kraig enjoyed camping, his golf cart and going on convertible rides in his Mustang. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; daughters, Jennifer Swanson of Pine Island, Minnesota, Mary Schumacher (Chris Elhard) of Grasston, Minnesota; grandchildren, Melissa Haller (Marcell Henderson), Nick Haller, Chris (Christina) Haller, Ben Haller, Andie (Austin) Fenske, Amy Gunderson, Haley (Mirko) Tepavac, Jesse Anno, Jackson Swanson, Violet Swanson; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Gary (Sylvia) Swanson of Rochester, Minnesota; sister, Sue (Chuck) Lunde of Little Canada, Minnesota; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Violet Swanson and son, Ronald Haller.
