Vayda Colby Jalene Kaiser

Vayda Colby Jalene Kaiser, age 9, of Goodhue, died on Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born March 14, 2009, in Red Wing to Samuel and Sarah (Colby) Kaiser. She attended Sunnyside School and was in the 4th grade at Burnside School in Red Wing. She enjoyed going to school and her presence was special to her teachers, nurses and classmates. She was courageous, kind and expressed her own special wisdom. Glitter, sparkles, lights and music were always exciting for her. She enjoyed taking walks, loved butterflies and the water. She will be remembered for her brave, strong soul and the love she expressed though her beautiful blue eyes.
Vayda is survived by her mother, Sarah (Jesse) Fox; her father Samuel Kaiser; five brothers, Aidan, Blaize and Riley Kaiser and Ellis and CJ Fox; grandparents, Randy and Carrie Colby, Ronnie and Larrisa Kaiser, Janine Groehler and Darwin and Cheryl Fox; her A team of Heidi, Cheri, Lisa and Michelle and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Her family would like to give a special thanks to all of her caregivers and to Dr. Seth Gregory for all their love, support and kindness provided to Vayda over these past years.
A celebration of life service for Vayda will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2018, at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church of Welch with Pastor Todd Portinga officiating. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 30, at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing and at the church for one hour prior to the service.
