William R. Renaux, age 69, of Rochester, died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019 at Shorewood Senior Campus in Rochester.
William Richard Renaux was born Mar. 22, 1950 in Rochester to Darrell and Rosemary (Witcher) Renaux. He was raised in Rochester and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1971. Bill worked at various jobs in Rochester, including being a cook, before starting his career at the Mayo Clinic in 1975. He was a Surgical Orderly before retiring in 2010, after thirty five years. On July 3, 1984 he married Janet Whittemore in Rochester, she survives. The couple lived in New Port Richey, Florida for three years before moving back to Rochester. Bill enjoyed camping, cooking, and music.
Survivors include his wife Janet, his daughter Jamie (Matthew) Lambert of Rochester, grandchildren Sydney, Maddox, and Holland Christopherson, his mother Rosemary Renaux of Rochester, his sister Joanne (Donald) Peterson of Rochester, and his brother Jon Renaux of Rochester. His father Darrell and his brother Robert preceded him in death.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019 at Mahn Family Funeral Home - Rochester Chapel with Father Nick Mezacappa officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service and a reception will be held following the service. Private family burial will be in Oakwood East Cemetery in Rochester. Memorials are suggested to the Scleroderma Foundation. Friends may share a memory at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com.
